Electrical Repairs

It’s been a busy few months and I have really gotten behind on my posts, sorry about that, this has been a month of many various tasks from electrical repairs in Ogden, Utah to replacing porch posts in Corinne, Utah

here are a few photos from what I have seen in electrical repairs.

A licensed handyman can handle quite a number of things that you would think that you need an electrician for.

Things like:

Light switches

Light fixtures

Bathroom fans

Ceiling fans

Dimmer switches

Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters or known as GFCI

Surge protectors

Motion detectors

Smoke detectors

Carbon Monoxide Detectors

Having me repair or replace these items can save you a lot of money over a licensed electrician, leave these guys to rewire an addition or wire a new house.

very old outlet
Old worn out outlet
Replaced light switch with dimmer
New Light dimmer installed
This is not how you wire a light switch
Replacing light switches and repairing electrical wiring
Not a good solution at all when replacing an electrical box
burned terminals
Wiring up commercial equipment like this can cause fires
When a switch does this it is time to replace
Broken Light switch
Electrical Maintenance, this is not a good thing to find and is very dangerous

If you have wiring like this in your home, this is a really good time of year to get it fixed before your start needing the room heaters and holiday lighting that are going to really tax your electrical system to the max. Don’t ignore these problems they are very easy to repair now.
